1999 – to present

2 Buxton Lane – Riverside – Closed today $2,732,500

2 BUXTON LANE – RIVERSIDE
WELCOME
The sellers bought this property in 2003 for $1,700,000 and it looks like they updated colors, but the listing does not indicate that there were any major renovations (with one exception of a new remote thermostat) or additions – so my guess is that they should be pleased with the closing price.

It started 200 days ago with a $2,950,000 price tag- which I thought was steep – but then I don’t understand the need to live so close to thy neighbor. 5 bedrooms, 5+ baths and less than 5000 SF – and YES – you can move right in and walk to the train…

There have been 12 land sales across all areas of Greenwich, since the beginning of the year…ranging in price from $420,000 on Bruce Park Ave, to $3,700,000 at 12 Flagler. Most with great central Greenwich locations (no wonder here)

There are also 13 in contract status – from accepted offer to executed contract…ranging in list price from $200,000 to $9,700,000 for prime Riverside waterfront. On this list, there are 3 others in Riverside and a couple of these are in mid-country Greenwich..

Currently active on the MLS are 71 properties – prices and locations are everywhere, from Banksville to wild west…so if you would like more info, just call me..
