The current listing began in March 2017 for 5,395,000 and today’s price 3,895,000. During the last listing, the home was semi-staged, with tons of editing, relating much more effectively to today’s buyer.
There are so many articles about the slippery slope of over-pricing a property. 31 Sawmill Lane has a long listing history, including a crazy $100K increase in 2009, when it came back to market with a tag of 9,950,000. This after it couldn’t fetch 9,850,000 while it previously languished on the market for 426 days!
Shame…because it’s a good house – great bones.
