3 Reductions in the 3’s

I saw this one this week during broker open house – they had just taken the price reduction, which the lovely realtor told us about. But as we pulled up, looking at the price versus the house – I thought, only in Riverside. I don’t get it, but that’s what many buyers want…at the end of a roundabout, or cul de sac. In need of renovation, every room is ho hum. Built in 1968, it’s 3700+SF – sellers bought it in 1994 for $1,250,000.

This brand new in-town property was just finished – everything is solid and beautiful – should have no problem finding a buyer a this point  – huge price reduction not just a token one….It was first listed at $4,150,000 and now it is $3,475,000…4400+SF

59 Gilliam Lane
59 Gilliam Lane – Riverside – now $3,600,000

3200+SF – 3 bedrooms – a million per bedroom –  wow….doubtful that this will get close to asking price, even with the reduction. Looks like the sellers bought the lot for $1,100,000 and built this in 1998. It’s listed as a cape cod  – but perhaps it would be better served to be described as Nantucket, or Shingle Style?
