There’s usually one stand out – and in all fairness – it was impossible to go to all of the open houses today…a couple were re-visits – such as 1068 Lake Ave – the irony for this one- is that I have biked past it for the last 10 years – never really liking it….but it’s back with a facelift and what a difference it made…refreshed, re-painted, staged and most importantly – repriced @ $4,175,000 – it presents new possibilities, lots of privacy – and country club like living….
So leaves me with 2 standouts – one in the higher range 449 Round Hill Rd – price: $8,250,000…quiet on the outside, but lots of thoughtful detail throughout…it expired in 2012 at $7,950,000 after 550 days – although it’s been totally renovated with amazing quality materials and workmanship – a gem.
449 ROUND HILL RD – NEW ENGLAND CLASSIC
NICE FLAT YARD – POOL
BEAUTIFUL LIGHT
PEACEFUL MASTER
RENOVATED BATHS THROUGHOUT – HIGHEST QUALITY
GRACIOUS SCALE
The most interesting surprise of the day was 75 Dearfield – offered at $3.,495,000 – which most people pass every day going to Putnam Ave – it has been in the same family for many years – with lots of history! They have done all the right things to the interior of the property – with new electrical, appliances, heating, windows…impeccable…there is a bit more FAR if the way it currently lives doesn’t suit the new owners – but all in all – this home is built to enjoy right now and to last a few more generations!
The art of the deal transcends all businesses, and more so in real estate than in many other professions. For the client, it's often an emotional purchase or sale, rather than a simple commodity or luxury item. I make it my mission to have each side come to terms with a transaction that works for everyone. It's not always easy, but good things in life usually take effort - something from which I've never shied.
Licensed since 2009 as a real estate sales agent in CT & NY, I often work with clients on the border of both areas.
With sales and distribution experience for luxury designer products, and watching/reacting to the markets, my acumen for sales was established. Achieving success and contributing to the growth of many global apparel designer brands, such as Giorgio Armani and Paul Smith for over 20 years, it was time for a change. I wanted to explore another passion that would keep me in one location rather than traveling the globe.
Now I have the best of both worlds, a successful business as a fulfilling personal life. My husband and I have lived in back country Greenwich since 2003, where we enjoy easy access to great biking, hiking and golf. We love to ski and that's usually where our travel takes us.
Life is good in Greenwich!
