Greenwich Ave welcomes it’s newest retailer..

Thanks for the warm and fuzzy welcome!

MARMOT ON GREENWICH AVE
Greenwich Ave has had it’s share of vacancies…and given the reluctance to go back to prices that would be attractive to single store retailers (unless the own the building or have huge sales per square foot such as jewelers), they continue to only attract mainly big brands.
The newest retailer, outdoor brand Marmot, has taken the former Talbot’s space. This is a great adjacency for Lululemon, that managed to push Lucy off the Ave.
Marmot has traditionally targeted pretty serious outdoorsmen and women, but seems to have broadened its approach to being more accessible to the athletic wannabes and sport rag strutters – so for as many Lululemon legging wearers, we most likely will be seeing more Marmot fans
