Student Residency Verification Begins


With the new diversity proposition for 2014, they may have to change their slogan to:

Connecticut General Statue and Board of Education Policy requires students who are enrolled in the Greenwich Public Schools to be residents of the Town of Greenwich. Residency verification is now required of all students enrolled and new to the Greenwich Public School System, including all students entering Kindergarten and transitioning from 8th to 9th grade. 
Acceptable proof of residency requires each of the following:1)  Photo Identification Notarized Affidavit of Parent/Guardianship or Notarized Sponsor Affidavit Form Homeowners: 2)property tax bill, mortgage statement, or ownership deed. 
 Leasing or Rental Properties: 1)current lease/rental agreement signed by the landlord with landlords contact phone number 2)Two Current Utility Bills
