New In-Town SF Listing – 1 Putnam Court – $695,000
1 Putnam Court
A Garage!
Nice quiet court
This just came on the market at the beginning of the week…therefore there are no photos yet uploaded on line. Since this sits in a very popular price range, albeit extremely small for a single family – 1,100 SF+ and only 2 bedrooms, it does have a garage, which is not often the case for many of these older properties in downtown Greenwich.
It’s on a quiet little court off Sherwood…and could be a tiny jewel box….
OK – put your 3 D glasses and imagination hat on – Replace roof with tin, side with cedar shakes and replace the aluminum awnings with flower boxes – open up the downstairs for one big living space, French doors, pop a dormer or two, Latticed Wisteria entrance….it could be so cute!
The listing indicated vacant/key box, however, it looked as though someone had been living there up until the minute that I entered. It is in estate, however, it seems almost callous that the personal belongings were everywhere. Needless to say, I did not stay long, and was frankly afraid of going upstairs. The living room/dining room shades were drawn – so it was too dark to take a photo..but you’ll get the idea:
To the right of the kitchen is the living room
* Built in 1908 *1,171 SF * 1 Car Garage * Taxes $4,508 * Gas Heating * Public Water
I would have at least staged it to give an illusion of possibilities…
The art of the deal transcends all businesses, and more so in real estate than in many other professions. For the client, it's often an emotional purchase or sale, rather than a simple commodity or luxury item. I make it my mission to have each side come to terms with a transaction that works for everyone. It's not always easy, but good things in life usually take effort - something from which I've never shied.
Licensed since 2009 as a real estate sales agent in CT & NY, I often work with clients on the border of both areas.
With sales and distribution experience for luxury designer products, and watching/reacting to the markets, my acumen for sales was established. Achieving success and contributing to the growth of many global apparel designer brands, such as Giorgio Armani and Paul Smith for over 20 years, it was time for a change. I wanted to explore another passion that would keep me in one location rather than traveling the globe.
Now I have the best of both worlds, a successful business as a fulfilling personal life. My husband and I have lived in back country Greenwich since 2003, where we enjoy easy access to great biking, hiking and golf. We love to ski and that's usually where our travel takes us.
Life is good in Greenwich!
