This evening, there will be a benefit event for the Bruce Museum at Leona Helmsley’s former Round Hill Rd Estate, which is on the market for $65M…
I have toured the estate before and since it’s been restored, and in my humble opinion, they did an amazing job with preserving the architectural details, while creating a relevant luxury property.
I would hate to see red wine spills on that precious Bourgogne Limestone!

There are 4 ticket tiers:
Servants – otherwise known as Mr & Mrs Bates: $650 (makes one feel great about making this donation) These guests at least will not be relegated to spending the evening in the servants quarters, which were eliminated with the renovation. These quarters were blatantly homely – reminding them of their place in life.
Lady Mary Crawley – $1200
Lord and Lady Grantham – $10,000 (the website does not explain well as to the number of guests)
Dowager Countess of Grantham – $25,000 for 16 – 20 guests, your name of course mentioned on the program, tour of the estate, and a Rolls Royce transportation service.
The event is sold out, but the property is still available 🙂 So if you’re a serious buyer in this price range, you can tour the estate for the cost of a phone call to your buyer’s agent
