Touted as a shore colonial (a bit of a stretch) RR Colonial is more like it – it is what it is and ever will be. 10 days on market – a a couple of buyers were hot to trot – it closed at $100K more than asking price!I don’t get it…but I thought that everyone was crazy in 2005 as well…
65 CALHOUN DR – CLOSED $3,050,000
This was a bit of a surprise – I thought that it was a great house – the interior was relevant and impeccable. It’s on 3.88 acres in Calhoun Association which is RA1 zoning. Built in 1918, 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths a couple of powder rooms – pool, tennis courts, wine cellar. It had been on the market for 455 days. The sellers bought it in 2001 for $800K and obviously did some major renovations
526 INDIAN FIELD RD – CLOSED $6,200,000
2191 days on market starting at $11,500,000, this 10,000+SF Mead Point Assoc property was built in 2002. 8 bedrooms, 6 full, 3 half baths, beach, swimming pool, pool house, separate guest wing…
23 PIERCE RD – CLOESD $2,147,000
This little charmer expired in 2012 at $2,095,000 and brought back this time at $2,150,000 – getting very close to asking price in 39 days. They staged and painted and got it done – another example of changing it up to get it sold.
BEFORE
The wide angle lens still doesn’t address the red walls, tan furniture and dated rug
AFTER
A breath of fresh air! Cool neutrals and sisal – simple – white, white and more white – bring it on
The art of the deal transcends all businesses, and more so in real estate than in many other professions. For the client, it's often an emotional purchase or sale, rather than a simple commodity or luxury item. I make it my mission to have each side come to terms with a transaction that works for everyone. It's not always easy, but good things in life usually take effort - something from which I've never shied.
Licensed since 2009 as a real estate sales agent in CT & NY, I often work with clients on the border of both areas.
With sales and distribution experience for luxury designer products, and watching/reacting to the markets, my acumen for sales was established. Achieving success and contributing to the growth of many global apparel designer brands, such as Giorgio Armani and Paul Smith for over 20 years, it was time for a change. I wanted to explore another passion that would keep me in one location rather than traveling the globe.
Now I have the best of both worlds, a successful business as a fulfilling personal life. My husband and I have lived in back country Greenwich since 2003, where we enjoy easy access to great biking, hiking and golf. We love to ski and that's usually where our travel takes us.
Life is good in Greenwich!
