GHS Dresss Code Protest

Protest away, but I take sides with GHS for enforcing exposed bellies, super short skirts and shorts and underwear that should be just that. Grow up, and realize that just because you don’t mind exposing body parts, others may want to concentrate on other things – like learning. After school, you can bare it all…it’s not just about you

As far as impeding self expression – the true meaning of creativity is having a mind that can maneuver within confines to find solutions….try expressing yourselves with true style, not baring your skin. Although you may be comfortable wearing less, the rest of the world may not want to see it….and please admit that part of it is shock value – not true expression.

The school’s dress code calls for students to dress “within reasonable limits so that their dress does not jeopardize the health or safety of the wearers or others, or cause distraction or disruption of the educational process as determined by the administration.” It adds that the school has “the right to determine what constitutes dress that is disruptive to the educational climate or process.”
