Last week, I got yet another phone call from someone who was inquiring about an old listing from 2010! The conversation started on a pleasant note when this person at the other end of the line wanted information about one of my former listings that I had once posted on this blog as well as Youtube…
The tone quickly changed when I asked if she was working with a realtor, and she said that she NEVER signs on with anyone….
Well, you know what my take is to all those out there who want to be their own house scout? Your loss, because home buyers/renters do not pay commissions, (the selling side pays) and you are better served using a buyer’s agent to help you find a home, protect your interests and guide you through the process, rather than call listing agents after going on random websites getting old information….and wasting everyone’s time.

Now I have the best of both worlds, a successful business as a fulfilling personal life. My husband and I have lived in back country Greenwich since 2003, where we enjoy easy access to great biking, hiking and golf. We love to ski and that's usually where our travel takes us.
